Continue to Play
About
This program is run by Centene Community Ice Center staff and coaches, and is intended for individuals between the ages of 4-9 years old who have already completed the Little Blues or Girls Development Learn to Play. This program is perfect for those who are ready to take the next step in their hockey development and desire more on-ice instruction, but are not quite ready to join a team. The program will include 60 minutes of skill development and scrimmaging every practice. A jersey will be provided.
Program Eligibility
- Children must be between the age of 4-9.
- Children must have completed the Little Blues or a local Learn to Play program to participate in Continue to Play.
- Children who are not registered with a local Missouri Hockey Association.
- Players must use the equipment they have (New equipment is not included in this program).
Frequently Asked Questions
I completed the Continue to Play program but am still not ready for an association. Can I participate again?
Children are eligible to do this program as many times as they want until they hit the age cap of 9 years old.
Can I sign up for the Continue to Play program if I haven't done the Learn to Play program?
No, all players must complete the Learn to Play program first before they can participate in the Continue to Play program.
