St. Louis is home to several programs that provide the opportunity for everyone to experience the sport of hockey. These programs include Blues Blind Hockey Club, Blues Warrior Hockey, Blues Special Hockey.
Blues Blind Hockey Club
The St. Louis Blues Blind Hockey Club provides those who are blind or visually impaired the opportunity to participate in the sport of hockey. This program focuses on helping youth and adult players develop their skating and hockey skills while promoting and emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, and the love for the game of hockey. Blues Warrior Hockey
The St. Louis Blues Warrior Hockey program presented by Boeing helps provide an opportunity for disabled veterans to play the sport of hockey. The goal of Blues Warrior Hockey is to expand the support of hockey and spread awareness of the issues veterans face. This program allows disabled veterans to come together and support each other by enjoying each other's company on the ice and competing against other Warrior teams. Blues Special Hockey
Blues Special Hockey is a non-profit organization founded in 1994. This organization offers an ice hockey program for youth and young adults with developmental disabilities such as Down Syndrome and Autism. The goal of this program is to give people with developmental disabilities the chance to play the sport of hockey in an environment in which these players can adapt and participate in.
